About me

Personality
I’ve taken the Myers-Briggs personality classification test at least a dozen times over the last twenty years and I have consistently scored INTJ. For those who aren’t familiar, the Myers-Briggs personality type indicators are a series of personality gradients that can tell us how someone interacts with the world and other people.
I’ve been focused on Machine Learning algorithms and Artificial Intelligence applications, learning Prolog, using Jupyter Notebooks, and analyzing big data problems. For more information, click on my Curriculum Vitae link.

Travel
My wife and I enjoy travelling to different cultures and countries. I have enjoyed Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Italy, and Greece and look forward to exploring more of the world.
Our most recent trip was to Thailand in 2019 (pictured above).

Tabletop Gaming
I’ve been playing tabletop games since someone first introduced me to Vampire: The Masquerade in the barracks in 2004. Since then, I’ve played several editions of Dungeons and Dragons, many Savage Worlds games, more than a few World of Darkness games, Warhammer 40K (Necrons pictured above), and many board games.
I’m currently playing a Savage Worlds superhero game set in San Francisco.

Family
My wife and I have been married since 2012. We love cats and dogs. We love our nieces and nephews. We love to travel together. The picture above is from our trip to Greece.

Crafts
I learned to knit and have knit myself a few skull caps. I practice calligraphy in the Italic and Gothic styles. I disassemble and reassemble watches and vacuum cleaners. I occasionally paint miniatures and build models too. Pictured above is a clockwork wood robot in progress.
I’m currently working on painting a miniature for Dark Matter, a space setting for Dungeons and Dragons.
